Everest Gokyo Trek

Everest Gokyo Trek is one of the best trail for trekking in Nepal. After arrival at Lukla airport by flying from Kathmandu, the trek begins for 12 days and the ending point is again Lukla. The trek passes through Namche Bazar (trading center from local villagers). The trek goes on across villages, forest, monasteries and Himalayas. The last destination of the trek is the summit of Gokyo Ri where the spectacular mountains views appear along with the highest mountain Everest (8848m).

Itinerary of Everest Gokyo Trek

Day 01 : Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla (2380m) and Trek Lukla to Phakding.
Day 02 : Trek Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440m).
Day 03 : Rest Day at Namche Bazaar for acclimatization.
Day 04 : Trek Namche Bazaar to Dole (4200m).
Day 05 : Trek Dole to Machchhermo (4470m.).
Day 06 : Trek Machchhermo to Gokyo (4790m)
Day 07 : Hiking to Gokyo Peak and back to Gokyo Lake (5357m)
Day 08 : Trek Gokyo to Dole
Day 09 : Trek Dole to Namche Bazaar
Day 10 : Trek Namche Bazaar to Phakding
Day 11 : Phakding to Lukla
Day 12 : Fly back to Kathmandu, transfer to Hotel
