Everest base camp trek

Everest Base Camp is one of the popular destination for trekkers. A trip of  17 days is sufficient to access this destination. This mountain trekking trip stats from Lukla after 30 minute flying from Kathmandu to Lukla. On arrival at Lukla airport, we start comfortable trek to Phakding then crossing and following Dudh Koshi River, and it's valley we reach Namche Bazzar. Namche Bazaar is a major trading center in Everest region. Two days of acclimatization in Namche Bazaar, we get a chance to observe tradition, lifestyle and custom of Sherpa people as monasteries around Namche Bazaar.

During our trek to Everest Base Camp, we visit Thyangboche, this is the first place to see good view of Mount Everest as well as Ama Dablam. From Thyangboche our trail rises to Pangboche, where we find oldest Buddhist monasteries.

Our trail continuously goes towards to Everest Base Camp on the Khumbu Glacier and gets the opportunity to climb Kala Pattar (5545m) for an amazing view of the highest mountain on the earth.

Day by day Itinerary

Day 01 : Arrival in Kathmandu.
Our office representative will assist you to transfer from international airport to hotel. We will brief your adventure trip after getting refreshment. Overnight at hotel. [B.B] Day 02 : Heritage and culture sightseeing tour in Kathmandu.
After breakfast you will leave from hotel for your sightseeing with a local guide. Morning you will visit Pashupatinath and Buddhanath. Pashupatinath is the holiest Hindu pilgrimage place in Kathmandu about 3 kms from main city. Buddhanath is next major place to see in Kathmandu. Buddhanath is the center of Tibetan culture in Nepal where we find one of the largest stupas in south Asia. After lunch we visit Kathmandu Durbar Square which is the place of the art then we visit Shyambhunath. Shyambhunath is also said monkey temple and situated on the hill near from main city. Overnight at hotel. [B.B]   Day 03 : Flight to Lukla (2800m) and trek to Phakding (2652m).
Early in the morning you will have breakfast and drive to airport for your flight of 30 minutes to Lukla. After getting at Lukla, our trek leads for 3 hour easy walking to Phakding (2610m). Overnight at hotel or lodge. [B.L.D] Day 04: Trek Phakding to Namche Bazzar (3440m).
After breakfast our trail goes crossing the Dudh Koshi river, through blue pine and rhododendron forests then reach to village of Bankar (2905 m) which takes an hour then our trek rises to Namche Bazaar. Namche Bazzar is a major trading center in Everest region. Local people run the stores, hotels and restaurants. Overnight at hotel or lodge. [B.L.D] Day 05 : Nameche Bazaar rest day.
Today, you will stay in Namche Bazaar for acclimatization. You can enjoy by visiting different wonderful monasteries and Museum around Namche Bazaar. You will have a chance to observe tradition, lifestyle and custom of Sherpa people as well as some snow covered mountain from Namche Bazaar. Overnight at hotel or lodge. [B.L.D] Day 06 : Trek to Thyangboche (3867m).
After breakfast the trail rises through forest of blue pine and rhododendron, village of Trashinga, tea shop and reach to Pungo Tenga. From Pungo Tenga the trail leads to Thyangboche. You will have clear view of Mount. Everest, Ama Dublam and other peaks from Thyangboche. Overnight at hotel or lodge. [B.L.D] Day 07 : Trek to Pheriche (4252m).
Our trail descends gradually to Dingboche. After crossing a bride of Khumbu Khola our trail rises to Taboche then Pheriche. Overnight at hotel or lodge. [B.L.D] Day 08 : Rest day in Pheriche (4252m).
Today you will stay in Pheriche for acclimatization. Overnight at hotel or lodge. [B.L.D] Day 09 : Trek to Lobuche (4930m).
Our trail starts to rise for one and half hours and reach to Duglha (4593m.) From Dulha our trail gradually goes to the Khumbu Glacier. After crossing a stream the trail heads to Lobuche. Overnight at hotel or lodge. [B.L.D]
Day 10 : Trek to Gorak Shep (5184m) to Everest Base Camp,  back to Gorak Shep.
After leaving from Lobuche our trail continue rises to Gorak Shep and have a lunch. After lunch our trek goes through glacier and reach finally to Everest Base Camp (5357m) from where we will have excellent view of Khumbu Icefall. From Everest Base Camp our trail back to Gorak Shep and overnight at hotel or lodge. [B.L.D]
Day 11 : Hiking to Kala Patthar (5545m) and back to Gorak Shep to Lubuche.
Today, our trail slightly goes to northeast and gets an opportunity to climb summit of Kala Patthar. Kala Patthar is the best place for clear and wonderful view of mount Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Pumori, Ama Dablam and other peaks. The sunrise view from Kala Patthar will be one of the best moment of this trail. We will return back from Kala Patthar to Gorakh Shep. The trail descend to Lobuche and overnight at hotel or lodge. [B.L.D] Day 12 : Trek to Pangboche (3,860m).
After breakfast our our trail descends gradually to Pangboche. Overnight at hotel or lodge. [B.L.D]
Day 13 : Trek to Namche Bazaar.
After breakfast our trail begin by heading downward through charming places and its surrounding villages and get to Namche Bazaar. Overnight at hotel or lodge. [B.L.D]
Day 15 : Trek to Lukla.
Get up early in the morning have a breakfast and our trail descents to Lukla and overnight at hotel or lodge. [B.L.D]
Day 16 : Fly to Kathmandu.
Today, after breakfast, we take a morning flight for Kathmandu.  Our representative will transfer you from Kathmandu airport to hotel and rest day. Overnight at hotel. [B.B] Day 17 : Departure from Kathmandu.
You will have breakfast in the morning. We will transfer to hotel as per your flight time.
